Returning to the word
Whatever the detour, it ends at a sentence.
If I had to put these years into one sentence, it would be that I went looking for the experience rather than the title — writing, learning, making, travelling.
And then returning, every time, to the word. Everything else has been a way of gathering something worth writing down.
